What to expect – Itinerary:

To start on this Day Cruise from Athens to Aegina, Poros & Hydra, our Officers, and Hostesses will welcome you and invite you to the Main Lounge or one of the spacious open decks. There you can enjoy the fascinating view as the ship leaves the port.

After departure, our Multi-lingual Guides will meet you in one of the Lounges. They will provide you with all the necessary information concerning the cruise program and tips about the islands. Take your time to get answers to any questions you might have. In the meantime, a Traditional Greek Folk Show with singers and dancers in costume will entertain you.

The first stop, on the One-Day Cruise from Athens, is the beautiful Hydra Island. With paved streets and Bougainvilleas flowers all around you will see the scenery from which many artists got inspired, like Picasso and Chagall. Another noteworthy fact is that many movies were filmed here, like Sophia Loren’s movie “Boy on a Dolphin” and Melina Merkouri’s “Phaedra”. You can walk around the small, narrow stoned streets or otherwise explore the town. The beauty of Hydra will astonish you!

After leaving Hydra, the Buffet will be served on the way to Poros Island.  Taste the gastronomic creations of our Chef!

The second stop on this 1-Day Cruise from Athens is Poros Island, which is separated from the Peloponnese by a narrow strait. It offers an enchanting view, with yachts, fishing boats, and the Clock Tower. Moreover, you’ll have free time in Poros to stroll around the small, picturesque streets of the island.

The third stop is Aegina Island. It is famous for being the former capital of Greece, after its Independence, and also for its pistachio production. This is the largest of the three islands on the One-Day Cruise from Athens. Once you are there, many interesting sites await for you to discover them, and we propose 3 optional tours for you….

1. Firstly, a Guided Bus Tour around Aegina island: visit the Temple of Aphea, the best-preserved temple in Greece and one of the 3 temples forming the famous “Sacred Triangle” of Greek antiquity.  On top of a wooded hill, it offers the most magnificent view of the island and the Saronic Gulf. Additionally, you can visit Saint Nektarios Church, where you can admire its beautiful Byzantine architecture in particular.

2. Secondly, a Panoramic Bus Tour. Drive across Aegina island (without visiting the archaeological site), admiring nature, the medieval capital of Paleohora, Saint Nektarios Church, and the pistachio groves. The tour ends with a stop by the seaside where you can relax as well as enjoy a glass of Ouzo and a choice of irresistible Greek “Mezedes” (appetizers)!

3. Thirdly, a Guided Walking Tour in Hydra. Lose yourselves in the traditional architecture of the Greek islands while you get a sense of life as it was a century ago. Hidden homes, shops, and taverns scattered throughout are living emblems of the island’s past. Each place has its history and reason for being there.
